communication activities in the textbook that you'll
focus on in and out of class those days and the topics that
you'll study and learn about. The grammar
points (and the corresponding page numbers) and
communicative objectives that appear below,
to the right of each topic, all in parentheses, refer to the
items that you need to study and review BEFORE each
class and that you should continue to review
after each class session; if you don't study them, then you
won't be able to participate effectively in class, you'll
likely not understand all that goes on in class, and you
won't progress.
